PRACTICAL CANDIDATE ASSISTANCE
Many recruitment companies offer candidate help and advice on their web pages. We have surveyed many of those pages and compared them with the help offered by specialist adviser companies and authors writing in the recruitment and job hunting space. With so much good information readily available from experts, we’ve asked ourselves the question:
What real and specialised value can Quest Recruit give to jobseekers which can’t be found easily on the internet, or is not provided by our competitors?
Quest Recruit has interviewed thousands of candidates and placed many hundreds in positions. We have often remained involved as the vast majority of our candidates have successfully built the career component of their life goals. We want to pass on the lessons from our own career journey and the journeys of others, to add value to your thinking and career development. While we are not uniquely qualified to do this, our difference is that we take the time to do it with you face to face when interviewing you for one of our advertised positions.
Specialist Information and Advice for Your Specific Circumstances
· Rather than ‘process’ you in as short a time as possible, at Quest Recruit we give you time to describe your work life to date, including your preferences in work content, company and team culture and your career aspirations
· We can advise you on what your career and personal development programme should look like to help achieve your goals
· We provide open and honest feedback about your application, resume, work history, education and career preparation to date as they relate to a specific job and to your stated career goals
· From our wide experience Quest Recruit understands in depth your industry, your job specification and the markets you work in. Our knowledge of your market place enables us to give you insight into trends in your profession and in the key companies in your industry
Quest Recruit takes a Genuine Interest in the Candidates we meet
· We are told repeatedly by candidates that jobs advertised by some recruiters don’t appear to exist. When you are interviewed by Quest Recruit for an advertised role, we tell you about the role and the company
· Many candidates we speak to feel as though they are being treated as a number in a database building exercise, reflected in very short, shallow interviews. They feel that the recruiter has extracted the minimum amount of information needed to make an assessment of a candidate's skills for a specific job, ignoring candidate preferences and career aspirations
· At Quest Recruit our assumption is that the job advertised may not be the right fit for you. We take time to build your profile to ensure we recognise the right opportunity for you when it arises
· You will receive open and honest feedback on your application versus your fit for the role; on your interview with our consultant and on your interview with the potential employer if you are short listed
· Quest Recruit remains involved with you once you have started with your new company, doing what we can to ensure your transition into your new employer’s business is as smooth as possible
Quest Recruit acts with Integrity at all times
· Quest Recruit respects and works within the requirements of the privacy and anti discrimination laws
· We work in close partnership with our candidates
· Your resume is your personal property. As its privileged custodian Quest Recruit will never release it to a company without your clear permission to do so
· Quest Recruit never contacts your referees without your prior permission
· Our reputation for follow through is second to none
